04/14/2010 – 47% Pay No Taxes, 45% Country Says “Not Overtaxed.”

THOUGHTS ON TODAY’S NEWS: Ok, so 47% of the U.S. now pays zero income tax. Yay. Unfortunately you’re not one of them, are you? A recent poll shows that 45% of the U.S. feels that they’re NOT overtaxed. Wow, so 2% of the U.S. doesn’t pay ANY income tax, and STILL feels overtaxed. Can you imagine how the rest of us feel? So will we now be paying more taxes to make up for the fact that there are fewer taxpaying members of society, or has Obama lowered taxes? Not good news. Obama’s actually raised taxes by $670 billion ($300 billion on people who make LESS than $250,000)… and that’s just the tax increases that he’s already passed into law. Coming soon: Capital gains tax increase, Cap & Trade, VAT tax… and more. Yay! I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling really motivated to work. 47% pay no income tax? I wonder who THEY’RE going to vote for. If only Obama can get that number above 50%. Dictator city, baby.
